Training internships, often known as stage, allow you to acquire practical professional experience useful when approaching the world of work for the first time.

The 196/97 law that regulates internships states that its aim is " to carry out alternate periods of study and work during the training process and to facilitate professional choices through direct contact with the world of work."
Training internships are not classified as working relationships therefore no pay or reimbursement is provided and insurance fees are the responsibility of the partner organisation. The public authorities and university institutions cover insurance costs for graduate students up to the 18th month after graduation. The duration of the internship is variable and can last up to a maximum of 12 months.
