Maria Karapetyan

Armenian and born in 1988, from 2013 to 2015 Maria Karapetyan studied at Rondine Cittadella della Pace, where she planned and created educational programs for Italian and international students. At the same time, she successfully finished her Master in Peace Studies at the University Roma Tre.

During the last years, Maria has been involved in planning and applying projects of dialogue in the Caucasus area and in the wider region including South Caucasus, Turkey and Russia.

Since 2012, she has been the development director of the Imagine Center for Transformation of Conflict, an independent and apolitical organization born in 2007 for the positive transformation of relationships and the creation of foundations for long-lasting and sustainable peace in societies that have overcome conflict.
