In recent days, we had the pleasure of welcoming to Rondine Ruth and Shireen, representatives of the School for Peace of Neve Shalom – Wahat al-Salam (Oasis of Peace), the international village where Palestinian and Jewish citizens live together in a model grounded in justice, peace, and equality. Their visit offered a valuable opportunity for the Rondine staff and international students to challenge themselves in a training program focused on identity, conflict, and dialogue.

The multi-day program opened with an initial introduction session, followed by a plenary meeting dedicated to the Rondine staff. This space allowed for an in-depth exploration of the educational and political foundations of the School for Peace, along with smaller group discussions on issues emerging from daily work and a terminology workshop aimed at exploring how to integrate the principles of dialogue into professional practice.

The training continued with the international students through presentations and guided activities on personal and collective identity, followed by a workshop dedicated to how each participant experiences and interprets conflict.
Numerous individual and group reflection exercises highlighted the complexity and depth of the theme of conflict.
