The Odd Couple Relationship and Conflict. On the Route of the Rondine Method

For over twenty years in Rondine, a small village a few kilometers from Arezzo, there has been an international student residence where young people from countries in conflict, and therefore potentially enemies, live, study and together plan a future of reconciliation. Starting from this exceptional experience, which in 2015 deserved the official nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize, the authors of this volume reflect on the culture of relationality, with the aim of framing the change in mentality of the Rondine Method in the approach to conflict. What emerges is a redefinition of the relationship as a stable bond, based on trust between individuals capable of recognizing the conflictual experience during the time of mutual care, accepting to be put to the test of changes.
