PeaceMed has reached another milestone. In Istanbul, over two intensive days of work and dialogue, Rondine – Cittadella della Pace presented the PeaceMed Training Manual, developed for Caritas Italiana with contributions from the project’s participants.
The manual is designed as a practical tool to support training pathways that promote peace as a common good. At its core are experiential learning, the relational dimension and shared responsibility—elements that make training not merely the transfer of content, but a space for personal and community transformation.
The Istanbul meeting also provided the setting to begin building a network of civil society organisations from across the Mediterranean. Rondine was represented by Mauro D’Andrea, Director of the Department of International Relations and Training, and Laura Coser, Head of Training for International Programmes.
The network aims to strengthen cooperation among organisations working to build more just and inclusive societies by pooling skills, experience and vision. It is a further step that confirms PeaceMed’s direction: building bridges, fostering collaboration, and transforming conflict into pathways of responsibility and a shared future.
