Luca Roti
Luca Roti was born in Prato in 1957, where he currently lives. Sensitive to social and peace issues from a young age (he was the first conscientious objector in Prato, where he carried out civil service at Caritas and the city’s Solidarity Center), he has volunteered in several Christian-inspired civil associations. He worked as a bank employee at Cassa di Risparmio di Prato and is retired since 2020. For many years he was actively and politically involved in the city’s Municipal and Provincial Administration, dealing with issues related to Public Works, Transportation and Economic Development in the Prato area. Over the years, he then became a member of the Board of the LUIGI PECCI Center for Contemporary Art, the POLITEAMA PRATESE theater, and the city orchestra CAMERATA STRUMENTALE. From 2004 to 2008 he was chairman of the PUBLIES SPA company (CONSIAG group).
He has been an active Rondine volunteer since 2018. From January 2021 to March 2024 he was president of the social cooperative Rondine Servizi.
