Are you ready to learn the art of dialogue and discover how to transform conflict into an opportunity for social change?
The World House is the transformative experience you’ve been looking for!
What is the World House?
The World House is an international program focused on conflict transformation through immersive, community-based learning. At Rondine Cittadella della Pace, participants from conflict-affected regions around the world live and work together, gaining the tools to become effective leaders, peacemakers, and changemakers. Through daily interactions and structured learning, participants develop skills in dialogue, empathy, and conflict resolution.
The Program
Applications are open for the 2025-2026 program, structured around four main areas: Daily Life, Capacity Building Training, Civic Engagement and Formal Education. Each component aligns with Rondine’s mission of conflict transformation and peacebuilding.
- Daily Life
Cohabitation is at the heart of the Rondine experience. Participants engage in daily community activities, learning to navigate cultural, social, and religious diversity with mutual respect and open dialogue. They contribute to the life of Rondine with a proactive attitude, using this context to put their skills into practice. - Capacity Building Training
High-quality training sessions—led by international experts, practitioners, and academics—empower participants to strengthen their competencies in conflict transformation, emotional intelligence, communication, and leadership. Through these workshops, participants gain tools to address the complex realities of conflict-affected regions. - Civic Engagement
Rondine fellows actively participate in public events, educational outreach, and volunteer activities. By engaging in institutional events and charity initiatives, participants contribute to Rondine’s mission and gain hands-on experience in fostering change within their communities. - Formal Education
Participants complete their studies with advanced academic or vocational courses at leading universities in Tuscany. This academic focus prepares participants for professional roles with an emphasis on social impact and community engagement.
