This year, the aim of our Association is to promote and build peace by doing sports and outdoor activities together with young people from different cultures. That’s the reason why Rondine decided to organize NatYOUre Support, a Youth camp which will begin from next 30th July to 8th August 2012.
The Citadel of Peace, with the collaboration of TOG Istanbul, Rotary International of Haifa and Holy Land Trust of Bethlehem, presents a project to lay the foundation for intercultural dialogue sharing the same amazing experiences outdoors.
Nature and peace are the Youth camp’s operative words: Italians will share the same tent with young Israelis, Palestinians and Turks. Enrolment is open for all young people between the ages of 15 and 17 wishing to have an experience that combines the respect for the environment with the knowledge of cultural diversities. It is also required a good command of English, as all campus activities will be held in this language.
Our experienced staff, helped by the students of the International Hall of Residence, will guide participants during the 9 days of creative workshops, games, role play, discussions, intercultural dialogue, outdoor activities, sports, excursions and much more, together with twenty-four young Israelis, Palestinians and Turks.
