The Meeting will gather a hundred youngsters both sides of  the Mediterranean. It is intended to promote dialogue and discussione on issues such as mobility, political study and work, gender equality and the role of youth in institutions.

N.B. participation is by invitation only.

The Meeting will be attended by representatives of youth organizations of civil society, local authorities and NGOs from the territories of the Mediterranean which work with Tuscany on cooperation and youth policies.

Participating regions include: Crete (Greece), Alentejo (Portugal), Puglia (Italy), Emilia-Romagna (Italy), Paca (France), Catalonia (Spain), Morocco, Tunisia, Israel, Lebanon, Egypt, Palestine. The partner organizations of the project are: Oxfam Italy and Rondine Cittadella della Pace (Italy), Al-Harah Theater (Palestine), Baladna (Israel), DPNA – Development for People and Nature Association (Lebanon), Elmadina for Performing Arts & digital, That will involve Also Oyoun Masr Association – gnawa for arts & development (Egypt), Sawty Chabeb We love Grand Tunis and Bizerte, Also That will involve AIESEC “Carthage”, Bizert AIESEC in Tunisia, EUREKA, Association artistique et culturelle au sein de l”Ecole nationale d’ingenieurs de Sousse (Tunisia), Association Jeunes pour Jeunes (Morocco).

Participants include, among others, Enrico Rossi (President of Tuscany Region), Vera Baboun (Mayor of Bethlehem), Patrick Allemand (Vice President of the PACA Region) and Andrei Claret (Anna Lindh Foundation).

The day event is organized by the Region of Tuscany – International Relations Office and Giovanisì Office, in collaboration with Oxfam Italy, as part of a project for the enhancement of the role of the young generation in the construction process of democratization of Mediterranean societies. The meeting is free admission, attendance is by invitation only. After the meeting the network will be expanded according to the specific requests.
